Abstract (EN)

Two-dimensional visual materials have an important role in construction process of concepts in memory. Implication of the contents on the pictures and figures can be a barier for misconceptions. It also provides the individuals using visual abilitiy known as the best linking organs in an effective way. Internal organs need to be handled in line with this viewpoint. Preperation of the figures and pictures with correct knowledge including internal organs used for the process of pre-school education requires to know the principles of instructional design correctly. Location of correct content in visual materials is one of these principles. In this thesis study, two-dimensional figures and pctures prepared by the adults subjected to a content anlysis process at part of leading children misunderstanding the internal organs in line with anatomy. The coleected pictures and figures regarding the internal organs in books and web pages analyzed in accordance with size, shape, color and the place in human internal part. With the result of the data, it is understood that two-dimensional visual materials have a wide misuse related to respiratory, digestive an circulatory systems' organs and have a rarely misused regarding endocrine and excertion systems' organs. Additonally many misunderstanding of colors' about internal organs were identified. This results have a paralellism with other researh results to a large scale. These findings leads us to the idea that adults' pictures and figures on internal organ, which the pupils can learn easily, have lots of misuse of the knowledge. Therefore there are works to do from preparig the instructional designs through the teacher education programs and from early childhood education curriculum development through the adult supports to the pupils.
