Özet (EN)

This study was carried out in order to determine the improvement in soil properties in the wooded areas within the scope of the Coruh Rehabilitation Project. Within the scope of the study, 37 woodland sample areas were selected from Yusufeli, Bıcakcılar, Ispir, Masat, Oltu, Olur, Taht, Veliköy and Senkaya micro-basins. Soil samples were taken from each sample area from 0-15 cm and 15-30 cm depth. After the soil samples were prepared for Analysis, Textural (%), pH, Organic Matter (%), Organic Carbon (ton/ha) and EC (mS/cm) analyses were carried out. As a result of the analysis, the values of clay( %10-16, % 12 - 17), silt( % 19 - 22, % 20 - 21), organic matter(% 2,20 – 4,02, % 2,24 -3,01) and organic carbon(40 - 59, 40 – 48 ton/ha) soil properties in both depth levels were increased and sand(% 71 - 62, 68 - 62), pH(7,38-7,27, 7,46-7,21), EC( 186 - 154, 221-140 mS/cm) values were decreased. These changes were statically significant for sand, clay, organic matter and organic carbon values at 0-15 cm depth and for sand and clay values at 15-30 cm depth. According to the results of the study, there was a significant improvement in soil properties measured in conjunction with plantation activities and soil processing.
