Abstract (EN)
There are 269 deep water drilling wells previously opened by the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works within the zoning area of Erzurum City Center. In this study, equivalent linear amplification analysis method based on one-dimensional shear wave was used by using the drilling data. The seismic risk was determined by a deterministic approach using the "MTA Active Fault Map". Using the determined earthquake magnitude and largest rock outcrop acceleration, 12 records with similar tectonic and ground motion parameters were obtained. These records are scaled to fit the target spectrum. A ground amplification analysis based on 12 scaled input motion was performed for each drilling point. The results are summarized on the map, which will form the basis for microzonation studies.
