ABSTRACT Master Thesis DETERMINATION OF THE MODEL MOST APPROPRIATE MODEL OF MULTI-FARM USE OF MACHINERY FOR THE SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC STRUCTURE OF THE FARMS GROWING FIELD CROPS IN PASİNLER DISTRICT OF ERZURUM PROVINCE AND THE PROBLEMS FACED IN MULTI-FARM USE OF MACHINERY Cihat YILDIZ Atatürk University Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences Department of Agricultural Machinery Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Yücel ERKMEN This study aims to determine the possibilities of multi-farm use of machinery applied in Pasinler district of Erzurum province. 227 farms growing field crops were studied through questionnaire and hence non-governmental organisation multi-farm use of machinery model considered the most suitable by farms owners were determined. According to the results of questionnaire, it was determined that, farm owners considered machine rings as the most appropriate model for their own farm structure. In the second stage of the study, a multi farm use of machine was applied in the district. Machinery ring model was practised in the study area. But the farm owners did not respond in an expected level.
