Studying on the Diwan of Esîf Sidkî Dede in the aspects ofmawlawiya elements

In this paper, the work known as "Esîfî Dîvânı" which was written by Esîf Dede who is a sufi and poet and also founder of Tavşanlı Mevlevîhane examined in terms of elements of Mevlevî Tarikah. Esîf Sıdkî Dede was born in Tavşanlı, Kütahya in 1698 or 1699. He used Esîf and Sıdkî as a pen name. His real name was Mehmed (Muhamemed). He was a member of Bicaroglu Arslan Bey family. His family was a member of Halveti Tarikah. Because of his education, Esîf Sıdkî Dede was a derwish of Halvetiya. After his initiation to Sakib Dede, he became a Mevlevî derwish.He served Sâkıb Dede for a while and he founded a zaviya (derwish house) in Tavşanlı. He was the sheik of this zaviya till his death. Mevlevî poets have written their thoughts as poems within the tradition of Mevlevî Tarikah. This feature can be witnessed several tarikahs but it is one of the most distinguishing features in Mevlevî Tarikah since Mevlânâ Celaleddin Rumi was also well known poet. Mevlevî poets used poems to express the philosophy of the Mevlevîye. Esîf Dede is one of the sheiks who has Dîwân. In this work, primarily Mevlânâ and Mevlevîye subjects were discussed, after that elements of Mevlevîye researched in Esîfi Dîwân and these elements were detected in the Dîwan. Dîwanis consisted from 187 poem forms of gazel, murabba and müseddes. And in the Dîwanthere are also 7 manzume. In this work, first Dîwanis eveluated in terms of shape and content than elements of Mevlevîye. In the Dîwan,48 terms have identified as examples of Mevlevîphilosophia.
