Sound vocabulary in old Turkish period works

In this study, Old Turkic Language (Orkhon Turkish, Uighur Turkish, Karakhanid Turkish) periods were analysed comprehensively by giving information about the concept of sound. Works written in the specified periods were used as data sources for the determination of vocabulary. The vocabulary obtained was divided into two Nouns and Verbs and categorised under sub-headings within itself. In the first part of the study, which is divided into three parts, information about the concept of sound and general vocabulary is given and the studies on the subject are discussed. In the second part of the study, the vocabulary under the title of Nouns and in the third part, the vocabulary under the title of Verbs are classified. The words analysed in terms of meaning, morphology, and etymology were thematically categorised according to their functions and meanings, the words included in the study were witnessed through period works, and the etymological explanations of the words related to the studied vocabulary were referenced from the etymological dictionaries of the Turkish language and the study was concluded.
