In the ancient world, there have been many struggles for dominance throughout history. The states in the ancient Near East mobilized all their military and economic resources to keep the region under control. There are very important civilization centers in this geography; Ancient Mesopotamia, Anatolia, Egypt and Iran are extremely valuable in this respect. Many states were established in this regions and have existed throughout history. The struggle of the ancient Near Eastern kingdoms to control a large number of regions and trade routes are among the most important factors that increase the problems in this geography. The states established and developed in this geography were directly affected by climate and living conditions. We obtain our information about the geography of the Ancient Near East thanks to the historical documents left by the states established in Ancient Mesopotamia, Anatolia, Egypt, Iran and archaelogical studies. In this geography, the states that struggles for dominance large areas. These intense struggles army have led to great wars throughout history. In this study, we aim to examine the amry systems and military structures of the states established in the Ancient Near East in the light of written and archaeological documents.
