Pre-studies on Geocorisae (Insecta: Heteroptera) fauna in Eskişehir

Abstract (EN)

The present study aims to determine Geocorisae species expanding particularly around the city of Eskişehir. Henceforth, mature samples of these insects were collected from particular stations in the towns and villages around Eskişehir.As a result of this study, 27 genus and 42 species belonging to the subcategory Geocorisae (Heteroptera): 5 tribus 11 genus and 18 species of Pentatominae; 4 genus and 5 species of Podopinae; 3 genus and 8 species of Scutellaridae; 3 genus and 3 species of Coreidae; 1 genus and 1 species of Alydidae; 1 genus and 1 species of Pyrrhocoridae; 1 genus and 3 species of Lygaideye; 1 genus and 1 species of Stenocephalidae; 2 genus and 2 species of Rhopalidae.Species of Aelia acuminata (L.), Aelia cognata (Fieber), Aelia virgata (Klug), Eurydema blandum (Horvath), Raphigaster nebulosa (Poda), Pausias martini (Puton), Carpocoris mediterraneus (Tam.), Carpocoris pudicus (Poda), Ventocoris trigonus (Krynicki), Ventocoris fischeri (Herrich&Schaffer), Ancyrosoma leucogrammes (Gmelin), Eurygaster dilaticollis (Dohrn), Odontotarsus robustus (Jakovlev), Odontotarsus karatasensis (Hoberlandt), Odontotarsus purpureolineatus (Rossi), Psacasta exanthematica (Scopoli), Pcacasta tuberculata (Fab.), Enoplops disciger (Kol.), Coreus marginatus (L.), Centrocoris spiniger (Fab.), Lygaeus pandurus (Scopoli), Lygaeus equestris (L.), Dicranocephalus albipes (Fab.), Corizus hyosciami (L.), Brachycarenus tigrinus (Schilling) were determined in the field of study were reported for the first time. The species determined were observed to be fitofac in general, although there were also polyfac species like Dolycoris baccarum, Apodiphus amygdali, Coreus marginatus.
