Opinions of Eskişehir Technical University Fashion Design Department graduates on the case of the competencies they acquired in studio courses meet their professional needs in working life

The aim of fashion design education is to train fashion designers who can best meet the needs, demands and expectations of the industry. Fashion design education programs are being shaped in line with this purpose, and feedback studies on the effectiveness and adequacy of the program are important in evaluating and updating the programs. In this regard, the main purpose of this research is to determine to what extent the competencies gained in the project courses of the graduates of Eskişehir Technical University's fashion design education program at the undergraduate level meet their knowledge and skill needs in their working lives, to examine the research findings by comparing them in terms of cognitive, affective and psychomotor competencies, and to provide a general overview of the program. evaluation is made. The basic method of the research is single screening. The developed survey form was used to obtain the relevant data in solving the main problem of the research. The survey form was applied to 98 graduates determined by criterion sampling method. Research findings were reached as a result of the statistical analysis of the data obtained. By comparing all the information obtained in line with the research findings, the results of the research were explained and suggestions were developed. One of the main conclusions reached in the research is that the current education program can meet the needs of graduates in their working lives in terms of cognitive, psychomotor and affective competencies.
