The oral product of a society is one of important elements that create the culture of a society. The lack of systematic on ?Canimen? songs -an intangible cultural heritage of our public culture- causes the corruption of this tradition and this is the problem of this research. ?Canimen? is one of the important elements that make up our oral products which create the public. The aim of the study is to detect in place and record accurately of ?Canimen? and to transfer them to future generations and thereby to contribute to public science. Descriptive methods were used in the initial stages of research. In the next stage of the research method and the method of field research and participatory observation, structured and semi-structured interview techniques were used together in some places. Canimen songs belonging to Eskişehir and the close Turkmen villages are kind of mania said mutually by combination of men and women.The words of ?Canimen? songs usually include themes such as love, longing and to affectation. This study ?concerning the ?Canimen? songs -one of the intangible heritage of our culture- belonging to Eskisehir and its region- includes the first academic and systematic work documented by field work. The folk songs called ?nanay-yallı?, ?deme-çevirme? are the similar applications to ?Canimen? folk songs and suggested for research to examine and clarify the subject more thoroughly.
