The critical evaluation of social studies curriculum in primary education in the aspect of ethic

In this thesis, first of all, it was evaluated the education in Social Studies lesson, the meaning of Social Studies lesson, the aims of Social Studies lesson, its content and its current evaluation system.After the evaluation of current social studies lesson, the concept of ethic was evaluated. The meaning of ethic and the relation of ethic with the other sciences and doctrines also were touched on. Furthermore, it was evaluated, what must be the differences of a Social Studies lesson which includes ethic concept from the current condition of the Social Studies curriculum.In this study researches were observed, which are about Social Studies and Ethic education in the literature. Some problems were determined in the view of these researches. Information was given about the solution of these problems.Finally, it was touched on some results and solution suggestions about the general evaluation of ethics education in social studies lesson.
