Abstract (EN)
In this study, the effects of cumin added to broiler chicken feed at different levels on the growth parameters, carcass, some internal organ weights and lengths and some blood serum parameters were investigated. In the study, 200 Ross-308 broiler chicks were randomly distributed to 5 groups with 4 repeats. All groups were fed with the same ration and Control groups no additions were made to their feeds, while other groups were added with 2.5-5-10-20 g/kg cumin additions, respectively. The study was lasted 42 days. There was no significant difference between the groups in terms of performance values and internal organ weights to carcass rations (p>0,05). No significant difference was observed between the experimental groups and control in terms of AST, ALT, HDL, Cholesterol, TOS (p>0,05). In terms of TAS, a linear interaction between control and experimental groups attracted attention. There was a significant difference between control and 20 g /kg of cumin in the experimental groups (p<0,05). When the number of mortality in animals was examined, it was seen that 20 g/kg of cumin was found high in the group that was added. As a result, it was thought that it would be beneficial to develop these research findings with more comprehensive studies on broiler chickens fed with cumin-added rations.
