Today the power electronic circuits are used in almost every device. The intended purpose of using these circuits is to transfer the electrical energy drawn from a source to the load in a controlled way. Basically a power electronic circuit consists of two parts. These parts can be named as the power circuit and the control circuit. In the power circuit, MOSFETs are chosen in compliance with the system to operate. In the control circuit, there is a structure to drive the MOSFETs in a controlled way. Operation of the whole system depends on the control circuit. The MOSFET driver circuits are designed according to the MOSFETs used in the power electronic circuit and the system to operate. MOSFETs, particularly operating at high frequencies and voltages, more than a couple of times voltage and current peaks are observed compared to the amplitudes of the supply. In addition, oscillations are observed in the driving signal applied to gate-source pins. These peaks and oscillations cause the MOSFETs and other components of the circuit to get harmed. To prevent these damages, various solutions are carried out taking into account the operating frequency of the system. In the market, there are reliable driver circuits which can be operating up to 200 kHz switching frequency. In this thesis, the MOSFET driver circuit can be operated at 400 kHz and over has been designed. First of all, while designing this circuit, the simulations have been done by using a simulation software named CST Studio. Under the light of the obtained results. After soldering components onto manufactured PCB is tested in the laboratory. On completing the MOSFET driver circuit, the simulations and tests results have been compared. It is also tested in actual system thats designed for.
