Abstract (EN)

This research examines the relationship between emotional intelligence, marital satisfaction, and religiosity among married individuals. In this context, the relationship is also considered in terms of personal and demographic characteristics such as gender, age, occupation, and number of siblings. The study employs relational and descriptive survey models, which are among the quantitative research methods. The sample of the study consists of 685 married individuals residing in Bolu. The data collection tools used in the research include the Revised Schutte Emotional Intelligence Scale, the Marital Life Scale, the Religiosity Scale, and the Personal Information Form. The study is divided into three main sections. The first section presents the conceptual framework, discussing the concepts of emotional intelligence, marital satisfaction, and religiosity. The second section provides information about the study's model, population, data collection tools, and data collection process. The third section contains the findings obtained from the research and their evaluations. According to the findings of the research, the levels of emotional intelligence, marital satisfaction, and religiosity vary according to demographic variables. A positive and significant relationship was found between emotional intelligence and marital life. A positive and significant relationship was also found between emotional intelligence and religiosity. The relationship between marital life and religiosity was found to be weaker but still positive and significant. In conclusion, it was determined that there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence, marital life, and religiosity, and these characteristics are closely related to each other.
