Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to examine the mutual relationship between the concepts of mobbing, organizational climate and organizational trust. Though not examined, in addition to these concepts, the most relevant concepts (i.e. social interaction, stress, well-being) are also mentioned for the sake of a better understanding.Mobbing in the workplace seems to be an increasing phenomenon in Europe, even though self-reported mobbing shows wide variations across nations. Workplace mobbing is repetitive, unreasonable malicious behavior directed toward an employee or a group of employees, that creates risk to health and safety. It may manifest as intimidation, physical violence, discrimination, threats, social isolation, and destabilization. Mobbing may present itself as behavior, words, acts, gestures, or writings that affect personality, dignity, physical or psychological integrity (Pranji? et al., 2006).Mobbing is relatively a new term that interferes with organizations ranging from for profit companies to not-for-profit organizations. Organizational climate is an essential factor in determining the state of worker efficiency and performance. Mobbing is a key term that affects organizational climate and organizational trust at offices. The effects and consequences of negative points caused by mobbing is partly relevant in the literature which are explained in this study. This study is a quantitative study. The type of design is Hypothesis-Testing (explanatory). It is a correlational research and cross-sectional one. The data was collected through e-mail. The size of sample is 184. The respondents are the employees of three different organizations, each one from different economic sectors (such as Banking, Health and Education). According to the results of this research; mobbing affects the concepts of OC and OT bidirectionally. In this framework, when OC gets better, the rate of mobbing decreases and as the OC gets worse, the rate of mobbing increases. Similarly, when OT increases, the rate of mobbing decreases and as the OT decreases, the rate of mobbing increases.
