Abstract (EN)

The action-oriented approach is a concept that emerged with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. This text presents the basic principles of this approach. This approach, which finds application in the field of current language teaching, is generally used in the preparation of textbooks, exams and programs in foreign language teaching. According to this approach, the individual is seen as social actors performing tasks in the social environment. The individual who is a social actor interacts with other individuals. This interaction instantly accomplishes an individual's tasks. Thus, the individual is involved in an action-oriented process. This study focuses on the application of the action oriented approach applied in the language learning stage in the religious textbooks of the Religious Music course offered as an elective course in imam-hatip high schools. As a result of the research, it was seen that the textbook was prepared in accordance with the aim of preparing the textbook and it was prepared to enable the learners to work in institutions and organizations related to their fields, to facilitate them and to carry out their tasks successfully.
