Factors influencing the sustainability plan of the urban transport network for Kirkuk city: Sector 6 as a model

One of the most significant parts of urban life is transportation. In addition, it is a vital foundation for societal growth and one of the most significant sectors in support of sustainability. Numerous international studies exist that show the degree to which countries relate to sustainability. It is also a significant measure of a city's progress and development. However, recent years have seen significant increases in worldwide population, product and transportation movements, and increased car ownership, all of which have been associated with rapid development. Different experiences from developed and developing countries have led to good judgments on urban stability in the context of sustainability developments. Since sustainable development is required for achieving sustainability over the long term, its indicators have evolved into an exhaustive and new approach to measure urbanization as an integrated unit and gauge the extent of development in the urban road network. With an emphasis on the index of public transportation, parking lots, traffic networks , vehicle ownership , noise, pollution, and green spaces, the requirements of sustainability transportation and its component are examined through the hierarchy of roadways. The main objective is to minimize pollution in the air, traffic jams, energy use, and car accidents whilst promoting social interaction. in order to transition to sustainable transportation and retain quality of life for as long as possible. Kirkuk City "Sector 6"was taken as a study area, which consisted of 11 neighborhoods. which together comprise 21 indcators, and transportation indcators were defined by the engineering and planning aspects, which comprise 12 indcators, as well as the environmental, social, and economic dimensions, each of which comprised three indcators.The GIS application was used for obtaining the data and extract the necessary indications. The parameters, which were examined using the SPSS statistical program, and the 2020 satellite image, which was made available to us as part of a study contract with the Kirkuk Municipality Directorate, are used to construct a mathematical model that conforms with the requirements of environmental sustainability. With a confidence coefficient of more than 98%, The indcators of local road area(V2) and Polution(V7) have the greatest influence on the model, by (1.5 and -3.6) respectively as shown in the mathematical equation. The primary goal of the research is to estableish a general framework for the conditions of Kirkuk's sustainable future.
