Abstract (EN)

Wheat is an important cultivated plant, which is the most cultivated crop in the world, which is the staple food of both producers and consumers. With this research, the effects of external applications at different nitrogen doses on yield and yield components of some bread wheat varieties were investigated. The research was carried out in a split plots experimental design, in which the effect of 5 nitrogen doses and 2 external applications on 2 bread wheat cultivars was divided into 3 replications in the 2021-2022 growing season in Bafra, Samsun. The external application of glycine betaine had an increasing effect on plant height, spike length and lodging. external application of zeatin; had a positive effect on the number of days to maturation, the number of earing days, the main stem thickness, the spike length, the number of spikelets per spike, the grain weight per spike, the biomass yield, the grain yield, the number of spikes per square meter, the weight of one thousand grains. has come to the fore. When evaluated in terms of grain yield, when the parcel given 32 kg nitrogen dose per decare was examined in terms of external application, it was determined that Glycine Betaine application increased the grain yield by 8% and Zeatin by 21% compared to the control application. When evaluated in general as a result of the research, it was seen that external applications have a great potential to increase grain yield and yield elements in wheat.
