Abstract (EN)
In this study, pomegranate pomace, chestnut shell, clover stalk and cane were selected as biomass raw materials and pyrolysed by mixing with polyvinylchloride (PVC) and waste tire (WT) in a certain ratio (1:1, weight). Pyrolysis process was carried out by thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) at a heating rate of 10°C/min from room temperature to 1000°C and under a nitrogen flow of 100 cm3/min. After the pyrolysis experiments, kinetic expressions of pyrolysis process were derived by using data obtained from TGA, decomposition temperatures and thermal behavior of the mixtures were also determined. The same raw materials were decomposed by heating under nitrogen atmosphere with a flow rate of 100 cm3/min from room temperature to 550°C in order to obtain liquid product in a fixed bed tubular reactor. The products obtained as a result of pyrolysis process were characterized by FT-IR, elemental analysis and GC-MS methods. In the study, it is determined that biomass and plastic raw materials can be converted to environmentally friendly, fuel and chemicals by pyrolysis process.
