Abstract (EN)

In this study, the effect of different steel fiber types and amount of steel fiber onmechanical properties was investigated in fiber reinforced concretes. In mixes fivedifferent groups were designed as 0 (control), 15, 30, 45 and 60 kg/m3. Fourdifferent courses which were max. 22 mm in diameters were used. Cement dosagewas 325 kg/m3 and water/cement ratio was stable as 0,60 and superplasticeradmixture as far as %1 of cement dosage was used. In this article, the effect ofsteel fibers in the compressive strength, inelasticity of concrete and energyabsorption has been studied. And some mechanical properties like flexural stressand damage resistance of SFRC under the freeze-thaw cycles were tested on prismspecimens. The result of experimental investigations on the behavior of SFRC andplain concrete is that specimens having different fiber types and volumes havemore strain under the stress and energy absorption than plain concrete.Key Words: Concrete, Fiber, Deformation, Energy Absorptioniv
