Abstract (EN)

The sector with the highest energy consumption after the industrial sector in our country is included in the report as the building sector. The energy efficiency provided by the existing and new buildings will bring about a significant decrease in the energy dependency of our country and the greenhouse gas emission values. In a thermal-insulated building made to a sufficient level and in accordance with the standards, the energy consumption to ensure the comfort temperature in the interior will be reduced during the heating periods. In this study, four different calculation methods including the life cost analysis calculation method, the investment saving calculation method and the annual energy cost calculation method including the TS 825 thermal insulation regulation, which is used as the standard in our country in order to reduce thermal comfort, energy saving and emission amounts, and a series of studies have been carried out on determining the optimum insulation thickness according to four different thermal insulation materials. As a result of this study, the importance of energy saving and energy / investment cost of the optimum insulation thickness has been put forward and the results have been examined in terms of environment and energy costs.
