Özet (EN)
Ecoprinting; It is a technique in which the colors and textures of the leaves, branches or flowers of the plants are transferred to natural surfaces with the help of mordant materials. Natural surfaces such as wool, cotton, linen, silk and leather are used for ecoprinting. With this research; It was aimed to apply ecoprinting technique with different plants by mortaring different types of natural hides such as calf, sheep and goat and to determine which leather is more suitable for garment production. In addition, ecologically printed different leather products have been transformed into clothing forms with designs made. Descriptive and experimental research models were used in the research. The first step of the research was the scanning model of the descriptive method, and a literature review was conducted to base and direct the subject. With the experimental model of the research, the results obtained from leathers using ecoprinting technique on different leather types (calf, sheep, goat) were evaluated and the suitable ones were transformed into clothing products in line with the clothes designs. For the purpose of the research, experimental process data were arranged with experiment reports. The relevant process is presented with visuals and process steps. The quality, appearance, suitability of the ecological prints made, etc. evaluations have been made in terms of features As a result of the research; It has been observed that all leather types used in experiments on different leather types are suitable for ecoprinting. Warm and bright colors were obtained from the prints applied on calf leather, while cold colors were obtained from the prints applied on sheep and goats leather. 10 garment products were designed in line with the ecologically printed surface designs obtained from the experiments. 5 of the designed clothing products were produced.
