Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted to determine the effect of polyamine (spermidine) applications on development parameters and stress conditions in strawberry plants. The study was carried out at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, Faculty of Agriculture, Horticultural Plants and Berries Garden. The study consisted of spermidine and control groups applied to Albion strawberry plants at a dose of 0.5 mM, 1.0 mM, and 1.5 mM. 36 Albion neutral day strawberry seedlings were divided into 4 separate groups and each group consisted of 9 plants. As a result of the 90-day trial, plants were randomly selected from each group and the development parameters of the plants were examined and analyzed. Each group consisted of 3 replicates and each replicate consisted of 12 plants. 1.5 mM and 1 mM spermidine applications had positive effects on leaf development parameters of the Albion strawberry variety. In addition, these practices positively affected the fruit physical properties of strawberries. It has been observed that different doses of spermidine applications have positive effects on the morphological characteristics of the plant.
