Abstract (EN)

The colorful natural flora formed by plants has positive effects in daily life by providing life energy to people as well as getting away from negative thoughts. It is known that these plants, which are like a riot of colors in nature, are used in many different areas. Plants are frequently used in perfumery, cosmetics, paint and food production, especially in the pharmaceutical industry. Medicinal aromatic plants constitute the basic raw material of these production areas. Medicinal aromatic plants, whose names we hear frequently today, are grown more widely due to both the breadth of their usage areas and their economic importance. This thesis study was carried out to determine the effects of different doses of liquid vermicompost applications on yield and yield components of tarragon (Artemisia spp.) species grown in Bayburt province ecological conditions. For the first time, liquid vermicompost applications were made to different tarragon species for the ecological conditions of Bayburt province. According to the results obtained from the measurements and analyzes made in order to determine the yield and yield elements in the study; While the longest plant height (40.67 cm) was seen in the control plot for A. dracunculoides L. species, the highest value for green herb yield (519.89 kg/da), which is one of the important yield values, was 1200 mL/da fertilizer application in A. dracunculoides L. species observed in the plot. In addition, the highest value (27.48%) for drug herb ratio was determined in A. dracunculus L. species at 3600 mL/da fertilizer application. The data obtained showed that vermicompost applications were supportive of yield and yield elements for tarragon species. It was determined that Artemisia dracunculus L. species showed superior characteristics especially in terms of green leaf ratio, green leaf yield and drug herb ratio. It has been observed that ecological conditions of Bayburt province are more favorable for the cultivation of Artemisia dracunculus L. tarragon and especially low doses of vermicompost applications are sufficient.
