Abstract (EN)

In this research, which was conducted in Eskişehir ecological conditions in 2021, it was investigated to the effects of different sowing times and biostimulant applications on some vegetative and seed yield characteristics of an annual grass (Lolium multiflorum L.). The research was established in split plots in a randomized block with four replications, and the main factor was the sowing time (EZ1, EZ2 and EZ3) and the sub-factor was different biostimulant doses (0, 100, 250 and 500 ml/da). Commercial Pi NFS brand organic liquid fertilizer was used as biostimulant As a result; sowing times and biostimulant applications were effective on spike length, number of spikelets, number of reproductive tillers, thousand seed weight, and seed yield. However, plant height only differed to biostimulant applications. On the other hand, the effect of sowing time × biostimulant application interaction was only observed in the number of reproductive tillers and seed yield. The highest seed yield was obtained with 364 kg/da biostimulant application at the EZ2 of 500 ml/da. However, there was no statistical difference between this value and the values obtained from 250 and 500 ml/da doses at the EZ1. In conclusion; it has been determined that in Eskişehir conditions, where continental climate prevails, sowing should be done as early as ecological factors allow in the production of seeds for annual ryegrass and 250 to 500 ml/da PI NFS brand biostimulant application positively affects the seed yield.
