Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to determine the effect of different concentrations of different microalgae (Nannochloropsis sp. and Chlorella sp.) on the growth and biochemical structure of rotifer (Brachionus plicatilis). Rotifers were fed with N10:10x106, N20:20x106, N30:30x106 cells/ml for Nannochloropsis sp. species and C3:3x106, C6:6x106, C9:9x106 cells/ml for Chlorella sp. species, while keeping the concentrations constant by adding the amount of reduced microalgae. The study was started with three replications by inoculating at a density of 200 individuals/ml in each experimental group. The study was carried out for 5 days. During the study period, the population parameters of each experimental group, namely the number of individuals, the number and proportion of indiviudals with eggs, growth rate, doubling time, and daily rotifer production were calculated. At the end of the study, rotifers were harvested and biochemical analyzes, amino acid and fatty acid analyzes were made. The highest values in population parameters, number of individuals 1047±20.90 individuals/ml, number of individuals with eggs 555±9.0 individuals/ml, growth rate 0.41±0.01 division/day, doubling time 1.68±0.02 days, daily rotifer production 211.75±5.23 individuals/ml/day were determined in the N30 group on the 4th day. N30 group showed the highest rate of crude protein with 54.41%. The highest rate in crude oil was found in the N30 group with 34.5% and the highest rate in total fatty acids was found in the N20 group with 70.69%. In essential amino acids, the best yield was found in the N20 group with 68.31%. As a result, when both population growth and biochemical structure were evaluated, the group that displayed the highest performance was the group fed with N30:30x106 cell/ml concentration.
