Abstract (EN)

It can be provided advantages ecologically and economically with the increase of amount of additional contribution in blended composite cements and with the improvements in mechanical characteristic of cement. The amount in linking systems of additional contribution materials have been restricted by the factors like increasing in water requirement and decreasing in gaining resistance pace. For that reason, many researches are done in the aim of rising characteristic and amount of using pozzolanas in blended cements without any performance losing as far as possible. This study includes researching the pozzolanic activities of pozzolana raw materials that have different crystal and amorphous forms and features of connector systems containing these pozzolanas. The purpose of this study is to evaluate characterisation of pozzolanas having crystal and amorphous forms with pozzolanic activities comparatively and examine the effects of electrokinetics and molecular forms of pozzolanas that have crystal and amorphous forms to the pozzolanic activity. For this purpose; physical, chemical, mineralogical, molecular and electrokinetics qualifications of pozzolanas raw materials have been characterised. Hydration evolutions of lime-pozzolana blends have been examined by using XRD, STA and FT-IR techniques. In these studies it has been found that physical features of pozzolanas are substantially dependent on own molecular forms. Features of molecular form besides being crystal and amorphous character of pozzolanas, it has been varied dependent on chemical elements of pozzolanas that have. This also affects the electronic and ionic features. Lime and pozzolanas had different zeta potential valences due to the positive and negative valence atom and atomic groups in their own structures. Therefore, positively charged particles by interacting with negatively charged particles firstly weak and then have been united with strong bonds.Key words: Electrokinetics, Molecular Form and Pozzolana.
