Abstract (EN)

In this thesis study, post-earthquake surface deformations that occurred in the Erikdere neighborhood of Kahta district, Adıyaman province, following the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023, were analyzed using three different measurement techniques. Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV)-based photogrammetry, Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) measurements, and Total Station (TS) observations were jointly evaluated, and their effectiveness in detecting deformations was comparatively examined. During the fieldwork, aerial images were collected using a DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise UAV at 50 meters altitude with 75% forward and side overlap. GNSS measurements were performed in static mode using a Sino GNSS T300 Plus receiver, while total station data were acquired with a Leica TS07 instrument. All data were evaluated in the TUREF 39 coordinate reference system. Photogrammetric processing, including orthoimage generation, was carried out using Agisoft Metashape software. The study showed that UAV data enabled high-resolution modeling of wide areas, GNSS measurements identified point-based displacements, and Total Station measurements provided locally detailed analyses with high accuracy. The combined use of these three techniques yielded complementary datasets in terms of both spatial coverage and measurement precision. In this respect, the study demonstrates the contribution of multi-method approaches in detecting post-seismic ground deformations effectively.
