Investigation of physical fitness parameters of primary education students that have training in different sports branches

The aim of this study is to compare physical fitness parameters of primary school students who have taken game and physical activity lessons and who are also educated in different sports branches. Academic years of 2017-2018 Yukselen Private Primary in Ankara, 57 girls, 65 boys a total of 122 students partivipated in the study. In order to determine the physical fitness parameters of the students, flexibility test, balance test, standing long jump test, 30 meter sprint test, 10x5 shuttle run test, t-test, 20meter shuttle run test were applied respectively. Statistical analyzes were evaluated using the SPSS 16.0 package program. Kolmogrov-Smirnov Analysis test was applied to evaluate whether statistical data showed normal distribution. The Mann-Whitney U Test was used because statistical analysis did not show normal distribution. As a result of the study, it can be said that there is a significant difference between the two groups because of the faster development of speed and agility parameters at the age of 7-8 years. At the same time the movement of children in this age not to show the best performance stages, it is aimed to implement a move in the right manner. Therefore, it can be said that there is no significant difference between flexibility, balance and cardiovascular endurance tests. The reason for the standing long jump test in the emergence of a significant difference in muscular strength of boy said that the value of boy in this age group was better development than girls.
