Material and Method: The parents of the individuals with down syndrome who participate in physical activites and who do not took part in this study. In total 100 voluntary people, 50 of whom are mothers and 50 of whom are fathers, participated in this study. The last survey was conducted 6 months after the first was given to those parents who send and who do not send their children with down syndrome to participate in phisical activities. The children with down syndrome were trained 2 hours per day and 5 days a week throughout 12 month and their families were informed at the end of every training session. The first survey was given to the families 6 months after the physical activities had started and the last one was conducted at the end of the other 6 months. The families who donot send their children to physical activities were randomly chosen. For the sake of the reliability of the survey results, the age, education and incomes status of the parents were also determined. Results: According to results of the statistical analysis; a meaningful difference (p<0.01) was recorded between the differences in the first and last tests grades given to the experimental and the control groups in terms of their anxiety and satisfaction levels. It was specified that this difference stemmed from the increase in the anxiety and satisfaction levels of the experimental group and due to the decrease in the anxiety and satisfaction levels of the control group.
