Abstract (EN)
In this study two different basic foundation's types were used for a reinforced concrete silo, the loads from the silos were transferred to three different types of grounds, and deformation and stresses in the soil were assessed through the plaxis program. In the study, all the loads transferred from the basement by silo were taken into the account and they were transferred to the basement floor. At this time, necessary calculations were made together with the environmental loads. As expected, the soil stresses and deformations of the two foundation's types were found to decrease as the depths of the analyzes from the resultant surface increased. It has been determined that the same foundation types have different stress deformation distributions in different soil types. It has been determined that deformation and stresses occurring under the radial foundation are reached to larger values because the work in two dimensions in the Plaxis program is indicated as a stripe and the sum of the radial basis loads is higher than the ring foundation loads. However, these values are derived from the fact that the bases are modeled by the program in the form of strips. The ring base construction can be evaluated in terms of economic efficiency due to the close results as seen in the analysis of the deformation tensile values to be formed at the base of the radial foundation and the ring foundation. For the superficial base type to be preferred in the construction of reinforced concrete silos, selection should be made by properly evaluating the soil type and other soil parameters.
