Abstract (EN)

In this study, the desiccant cooling systems which have become widespread especially in our country have been investigated. Three types of desiccant cooling systems with different configurations are considered. The performances of the systems are determined and compared with each other for regions with different climate conditions in Turkey. The performance evaluation was carried out by taking into account the first and second laws of thermodynamics and by using various parameters such as efficiency coefficient, exergy destruction, exergy efficiency etc. The psychrometric properties of all points in the systems were calculated using the models created for the systems considered. With this study, most suitable system for different climate conditions was determined.
