Abstract (EN)

In this study; the accumulation of some strategic raw materials (Al, Sb, As, Be, B, P, Ga, Co, Li, Mg, Si, Sr, Tl, Ti and V) found in different types of wastewater (domestic wastewater, industrial wastewater and landfill leachate) with macroalgae (Cladophora fracta) was investigated using the phycoremediation technique, which is an effective method in the remediation of wastewater. For this purpose; Cladophora fracta collected from Lake Hazar was placed in previously prepared reactors at the discharge points of the facilities in Malatya province. The concentrations of strategic raw materials in daily harvested Cladophora fracta were determined by ICP-MS. The accumulations of Cladophora fracta in different types of wastewater were compared by determining the harvesting times according to the highest accumulation value obtained for each strategic raw material. According to the obtained data, the highest Aluminum (Al) accumulation was 170.1±8.5% at the end of the 6th day in industrial wastewater, the highest Antimony (Sb) accumulation was 1226.2±61.3% at the end of the 2nd day in industrial wastewater, the highest Arsenic (As) accumulation was 98.7±4.9% at the end of the 3rd day in domestic wastewater, the highest Beryllium (Be) accumulation was 194.8±9.7% at the end of the 5th day in domestic wastewater, the highest Boron (B) accumulation was 667.8±33.4% at the end of the 2nd day in industrial wastewater, the highest Phosphorus (P) accumulation was 783±39.2% at the end of the 1st day in industrial wastewater, the highest Gallium (Ga) accumulation was 238.8±11.9% at the end of the 2nd day in landfill leachate, the highest Cobalt (Co) accumulation was 429.4±21.5% at the end of the 2nd day in industrial wastewater, the highest Lithium (Li) accumulation was 226.6±11.3% at the end of the 5th day in domestic wastewater, the highest Magnesium (Mg) accumulation was 71.2±3.6% at the end of the 4th day in domestic wastewater, the highest Silicon (Si) accumulation was 247±12.4% at the end of the 2nd day in domestic wastewater, the highest Strontium (Sr) accumulation was 216.1±10.8% at the end of the 5th day in domestic wastewater, the highest Thallium (Tl) accumulation was 174.4±8.7% at the end of the 2nd day in industrial wastewater, the highest Titanium (Ti) accumulation was 170.7±8.5% at the end of the 4th day in domestic wastewater and the highest Vanadium (V) accumulation was 208.2±10.4% at the end of the 4th day in domestic wastewater. The highest accumulations of the examined strategic raw materials in Cladophora fracta in domestic wastewater; P>Co>Si>Ga>Li>Sr>V>Be>Ti>Al>B>Sb>As>Mg>Tl, in industrial wastewater; Sb>P>B>Co>Ga>Tl>Al>Li>Sr>Ti>V>Si>Be>As>Mg and in landfill leachate; B>Ga>Li>Co>V>Al>Sr>Ti>As>Be>Sb>Mg>Si>Tl>P. As a result, it was determined that Al, Sb, As, Be, B, P, Ga, Co, Li, Mg, Si, Sr, Tl, Ti and V from strategic raw materials were effectively accumulated by Cladophora fracta.
