Abstract (EN)
The discussion about what makes us human has been going on for thousands of years. According to the frame that has been shaped around these discussions, our mind (reason) is what makes us from other species. Thanks to our mind, humans know that they are different from other species and follow the mind's principles to realize themselves. However, there is a deeper separation in this philosophical process in which we have chosen the mind as our guide; the separation between the soul and the body. The fear of death and the will to continue our existence forms this distinction. Carrying that will, philosophy considers the human as the combination of two different substances: the soul and the body. Also, it considers the soul as superior contrary to the body as the soul belongs to a deathless and different realm. This thesis will try to explain that feminist philosophy is a self-contained philosophy field and the philosophy itself is death-centric from the beginning. Also, it will try to exhibit the intervention of the feminist philosopher. These interventions open the door to new re-interpretations of the body.
