Abstract (EN)

Ferit Edgü is one of the most important writers of the 1950s. He has produced different genres such as novels, stories, memoirs, poems, essays. The author's name is mentioned in the 1950's generation of storytellers. The author, who presented his stories with an extraordinary structure, became the representative of the generation. Using language, creating stories with a small number of words is an important structure in the author's storytelling. Since the common denominator of psychology and literature is human and human behaviors, it is inevitable that these two disciplines should feed each other and create resources for each other. Psychology has great importance in the formation of characters in literary texts. The psychoanalysis applied to artists by Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis, gradually brought his place to the works of his students and brought together psychoanalysis and literatüre. The literary critics who took advantage of these methods developed psychoanalytic literary criticism method and applied it to literary texts.
