Abstract (EN)

One of the cancer treatments is magnetic hyperthermia. In the treatment of magnetic hyperthermia, the tumor is destroyed by reaching high temperatures. Magnetic nanoparticles are placed in the tumor area and exposed to high frequency magnetic field intensity and heating is performed in the tumor area. In this thesis, a high frequency magnetic field was produced using a ferrite core with an air gap and its suitability for magnetic hyperthermia study was investigated. The creation of a magnetic field at different points by creating an air gap in the ferrite core and the heating of the ferro material were investigated by simulation. After the simulation study, microcontroller and inverter circuit are designed to produce high frequency magnetic field. As a result of the experiment, a temperature-time graph was created. In the simulation, the ferro material was heated on the empty coil and the simulations and test results were compared. Afterwards, simulations were made for magnetic hyperthermia by using ferrite core with air gap and magnetite magnetic nanoparticles. In the simulations, different magnetic flux density values were found by changing the current values of the multi-turn coil wound on the ferrite core with an air gap, the specific absorption rate was calculated analytically, and the heating on the tumor tissue at a constant frequency was observed.
