Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to obtain more general relations for Fibonacci and Lucas numbers by using linear algebra methods and matrix algebra. For this, first of all, the basic properties of Fibonacci and Lucas numbers and the relations between these number sequences are discussed with linear algebra methods. Then, by generalizing Fibonacci numbers and Lucas numbers, some identities for these number sequences were obtained with the help of linear algebra methods. The identities obtained here are reduced to Fibonacci and Lucas numbers and new identities are obtained. The results obtained with this thesis study can be used for both mathematics and other branches of science.
