The historical development of the figurative painting until the Renaissance period and the figurative painting of the 20th century have been prepared in line with the parameters summarized under the title of 'Dynamism in Figurative Painting.' The goal in this thesis is to transform figurative painting, which always maintains its importance in art history, into a spiritual cry with the help of lines, colors, forms, sounds and rhythms in a beautiful and striking language and personal attitudes, with historical theories and explaining and supporting them with scientific theories. Various approaches of artists, who have an understanding of traditional art, towards movement; the importance they devote to movement and dynamism while describing both phases before and after the moment is experienced; and the movement within the event described in the pictures of the event, which always describe a plot, was examined and attempted to be presented in an academic language. As a result, in this research on 'Dynamism in Figurative Painting,' the development of the figure in art and its transformation into different styles among artists were analyzed before and after the 20th century and turned into a useful and developable information whole.
