Abstract (EN)
The research carried out to determine the effects of developments in financial technology (Fintech) on investor behavior was carried out according to the screening model, which is one of the quantitative research methods. Since the research targets all consumers in the financial services sector and does not require field-specific expertise, all financial service users in Konya were included in the study population, while the sample of the research consisted of 356 participants. The data of the participants were collected using the online survey method, uploaded to the SPSS 22 package program and analyzed. Since the data did not show normal distribution, Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis tests were also used to determine the relationship between the scales and correlation and regression analyzes. The most used or preferred financial technology model by the participants is the credit card; some of the participants did not prefer any financial technology model on the grounds that these services are not secure; has knowledge of fintech models, often via the internet; the levels and sub-dimensions of perceptions of using financial technologies have a high average; behavioral finance tendencies levels and sub-dimensions have an average of "highly agree"; While the perceptions of using financial technologies by gender did not differ significantly, behavioral finance tendencies made a significant difference in favor of women; According to the variables of age, marital status, education level, occupational group, sector, monthly income, perceptions of using financial technologies and behavioral finance tendencies did not differ significantly; It has been concluded that there is a positive significant relationship between the perception of using financial technologies and behavioral finance tendencies, the perceptions of using financial technologies are a significant predictor of behavioral finance tendencies, and the perception of using financial technologies explains approximately 47% of behavioral finance tendencies.
