Abstract (EN)

Nuclear fission cross sections are very important in understanding nuclear structure in addition nuclear fission cross sections are needed in many areas like power reactors, accelerator driven systems where the conversion of nuclear waste are realized. Experiments to measure are very costly and laboratories required to perform these measurements are limited. Because ofthe these reasons reliable models are needed to obtain nuclear fission cross sectons. The application of these models can be achieved with reliable computer software. In this study reaction cross sections of some heavy nuclei,(_83^209)Bi, (_88^226)Ra, (_90^232)Th, (_90^235)U, (_93^237)Np, (_94^238)Pu and (_94^238)U,have been calculated and compared with experimental values. TALYS 1.2 code was used for all calculations. Calculations have been realized by alpha particles for different incident energies. Appropriate parameters were used as a systematic for fission models for each element and level density models.
