Abstract (EN)
In this study, it is aimed to determine Physics teachers' competencies in using Web 2.0 tools and to examine their competencies in terms of various demographic variables. The study was conducted in correlational research design. The research was carried out with 213 participants selected by convenient sampling method among Physics teachers working in Istanbul. Research data were collected using an online questionnaire containing demographic questions and the Web 2.0 Tools Usage Competency Scale. Within the scope of the research, frequency analysis, reliability analysis, normal distribution analysis, descriptive statistical analysis, t-test and ANOVA analysis were performed. Analysis results showed that Physics teachers' competencies in using Web 2.0 tools were at a low level. On the other hand, it was determined that while the competencies of physics teachers to use Web 2.0 tools did not differ significantly according to gender and professional seniority, it differed significantly according to age, education, and receiving training on Web 2.0 tools.
