Petrol fiyatlarındaki dalgalanmalar ve ekonomik etkileri: Türkiye, Rusya ve Azerbaycan örneği

Oil; It is an energy source that has no alternative and is constantly needed for the countries of the world. For this reason, how oil-consuming countries are affected by price changes and their financial situation is one of the questions that await answers today. The limited world reserves of petroleum, which has the most widespread use of energy resources, causes an increase in the economic dependence of countries. Changes in oil prices with the increase in economic dependency affect the economic performance of both oil importing and exporting countries. While low oil prices affect the economic performance positively with the decrease in costs in the importing countries, the economic performance is negatively affected due to the decrease in the incomes of the exporting countries. While these effects are expected to be the opposite in high oil prices, first positive and then negative effects are seen in oil exporting countries. As we know, Turkey is an oil-importing country, while Azerbaijan and Russia are oil-exporting countries. Although these 3 countries were exposed to economic crises from time to time, they later managed to keep their own eonomies in order. In this study; oil prices, oil consumption were investigated. In the study, it has been tried to reveal how the fluctuations in oil prices affect the economies of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Russia.
