Abstract (EN)
It is known that fossil energy sources are constantly depleted in the world and in our country and cause harm to nature and people. Renewable energy sources such as sun, wind, biomass, wave tide, geothermal, hydraulic energy are alternatives to fossil energy sources and eliminate their damages. In this study, by writing a program on photovoltaic agricultural irrigation and off-grid system as photovoltaic solar energy applications; Efficiency, modeling and cost calculations of existing irrigation systems and off-grid systems have been made, and amortization periods have been calculated by comparing the existing systems with the use of mains electricity and generators. The capacities of the devices that need to be used in photovoltaic agricultural irrigation and off-grid systems have been calculated. It has been determined that photovoltaic systems are more advantageous than the use of electricity network and generator. Keywords: Solar energy, Photovoltaic systems, Solar irrigation systems, Off-grid systems
