Özet (EN)

The Euphrates-Tigris Basin is one of the largest basins in Turkey. For this reason, it is the area that will be affected the most in terms of climate change. The data of the meteorology stations in the basin were obtained from the General Directorate of Meteorology within the years 1960-2020 of the study area. The temporal and spatial evaluations of the maximum and minimum temperature values of 37 meteorological stations, which were interpreted numerically, were made. Kriging Interpolation Method, which will give the most accurate method, was used in the study. In the study, the average of the day, month, and finally the year of the meteorological parameters were taken and their temporal graphs and spatial analyzes were made in geographic information systems. In the first stage of the study, the changes in the annual average temperature values obtained from 37 stations in 21 provinces in the Euphrates-Tigris Basin were examined. When the annual average temperature values of the basin were examined over years, it was determined that the average temperature was approximately 12.85 °C throughout the process. When the annual average temperature changes are examined, there has been an increase in the annual average temperatures at different rates at all stations except Erzurum Airport Station from past to present, while the annual average temperatures at Erzurum Airport Station have changed negatively.
