Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study was to compare the psychophysiological and technical data of young football players in adolescence in 5v5 small-sided games played on natural grass pitches and synthetic grass pitches. The research group consisted of 20 young football players (age: 12.2±0.41; height: 160.9±8.78; weight: 50.0±9.72; body mass index: 19.2±2.70) in their adolescence. In the study, the following psychophysiological data were determined: Total distance covered, HRrest, HRaverage, HRpeak, HRpercentage, the rating of percrived exertion (RPE) and enjoyment scale responses. Technical veriables recorded and analyzed included successful passes, unsuccesful passes, successful shots, unsuccessful shots, turnovers, and ball recoveries. Accordingly, it was observed that there was no statistically significant difference between the groups in the total distance covered, HRaverage, HRpeak, HRpercentage, RPE and enjoyment responses (p>0.05). According to the statistical results of the Brunel mood responses given before the 5v5 small-sided game played on synthetic and grass pitches, it was observed that there was a statistically significant difference between the groups in the tense mood (p>0.05). It was determined that the mood of tension was higher in the small-sided game played on the grass field than in the game played on the synthetic field before the game. It was determined that there was no statistically significant difference between the groups in terms of anger, confusion, depression, fatigue and vigor (p>0.05). In the Brunel mood responses given after the 5v5 small-sided game played on the synthetic and grass fields, it was observed that there was no statistically significant difference between the groups in terms of anger, confusion, depression, fatigue, tension and vigor (p>0.05). According to the statistical results of the technical activity responses given during the 5v5 small-sided game, it was observed that there was a statistically significant difference between the groups in successful pass, successful shot, stealing and losing the ball activities (p>0.05). It was determined that there were more successful passes, successful shots, stealing and losing the ball activities in the small-sided game played on the synthetic field than in the game played on the grass field. It was determined that there was no statistically significant difference between the groups in terms of unsuccessful pass and unsuccessful shot technical activities (p>0.05). As a result, it has been observed that the field surfaces (synthetic turf, natural turf) in small-sided football games have an effect on some psychophysiological and technical indicators of young football players in adolescence. It is thought that it is important for coaches working with young football players in the adolescence to take this situation into consideration in order to contribute to the development of football players in this age group.
