Abstract (EN)
The aim of this thesis was to examine the performance responses of football players according to different agility test protocols according to speed and positions. 61 licensed male football players (age=22.33±1.41 years; height=163.00±5.85 cm; body fat percentage =%16,67±1,52) completed the study. 20 Meter Sprint Test protocol, Agility T-Test, 505 Agility Test, Reactive Agility Test and Eight Figure Agility Test, which are commonly used agility test protocols for agility performance, were applied to evaluate the sprint performance of the football players. Pearson correlation was used to determine the relationship between agility performance results and sprint performance, and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) was used to determine the differences in agility performance between positions. The significance level was determined as 0.05 in all calculations. As a result of the calculations, the 20m sprint performance and the Agility T-Test were moderate (r = 0.664, p= 0.00), the 505 Agility Test (r = 0.466, p = 0.00) and the Eight-Figure Agility Test were low (r = 0.00). 0.460, p = 0.00) statistically significant relationships were determined. No correlation was found between speed and Reactive Agility Test (r = 0256, p = 0.56). No correlation was found between reactive agility test performance and T-test, 505 and 8-figure agility test performances (p>0.05). When the agility test results were examined according to the positions, the difference between the groups was determined in the Eight Figured Agility Test (F= 6.21, p=0.001). In the post hoc evaluation, it was determined that the difference was against the goalkeepers (p< 0.05). When the results of 20m Speed, Agility T-Test, 505 Agility Test and Reactive agility test were examined, no difference was found between the groups (p>0.05). As a result, sprint speed and planned agility protocols were not associated with reactive agility in the examined football player group, and all the protocols examined, except for the 8-figure agility test, can be applied by all football players.
