Abstract (EN)
The aim of this study is to investigate the relationship between physical performance values of two different tests, 7x34,2 m repeated sprint and 7x34,2 m change of direction repeated sprint, which are applied in football field from different protocols used to measure repeated sprint ability in football, using global positioning system. Twenty-two athletes playing active football licensed in the U19 age category of Eskişehirspor soccer club. In addition to two different sprint test protocols, Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery (1) test, active and squat jump test, isokinetic knee joint strength test, heart rate measurement, blood lactate measurement and ratings of perceived exertion were applied to the participants. Global Positioning System (GPS) devices have been used for monitoring and analysis of external and internal loads. SPSS 21 program was used in the statistical data analysis process. Paired Sample t test was used to determine whether there was a change between the repeated sprint test and the change of direction repeated sprint test. After the analysis, it was observed that there were statistically significant differences in the parameters such as blood lactate values taken at the 3rd minute, blood lactate values taken at the 5th minute, Maximum velocity, Average velocity, Metabolic power and Body load.
