Abstract (EN)
The purpose of this study is to prove that the common elements of Turkish culture still exist in the folk narrations of small groups. To their respects, "wedding ceramonies" as one of the most important transition phrase in life and "folk narrations" as a type of folk narrations has been subjects to this study. Gagavuz and Kaşkay Turks has been particularly chosen among the other Turkish groups which has spread the different regions around the world. Because these two small groups didn't live together at any stated periot in history and they have been surrounded by different geographies and cultural elements. Folk narration is one of the oral works that reflects the real life clues more explicitly than tales and epics. For than reason, they give us more concrete data while studying culture of a society. It's really difficult to carried to a conclusion by studying on two different groups narrations and to carry a study an patterns of folk literature. This topic has been a reflected with a perspective including all the discliplines like history, geography and folks.
