Abstract (EN)
This master's thesis study, Ag-based, gallic acid and quercetin-doped HAp biomaterials were synthesized by the wet chemical method and the physical, chemical, biological, theoretical and cytotoxic properties of these HAp biomaterials were examined. The characterization of the HAp biomaterials synthesized was carried out by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared (FT-IR), Raman spectroscopy, Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX), TGA/DTA analyses. In addition, the theoretical properties of the produced biomaterials were determined with the help of Hartree Fock (HF) and Density Function Theory (DFT) methods. Finally, the in vitro cytotoxic properties of the synthesized HAp biomaterials were performed by MTT test against MG-63 human bone cancer cells, hFOB 1.19 human osteoblast cells, L929 mouse fibroblast cells and Caco-2 human colon cancer cells. At the end of the stduy, it has been understood that the Ag, quercetin and gallic acid doped biomaterials produced have the unique physical, chemical, biological, thermal, morphological, theoretical and cytotoxic properties of undoped HAp. It was determined that all HAp samples produced did not contain any chemical impurities and had functional groups belonging to HAp, and also Ag element added to the structure was included in the chemical composition. Finally, it was observed that the produced HAp biomaterials did not have any cytotoxicity on L929, MG-63 and hFOB 1.19 cell lines, and therefore the biocompatibility of these biomaterials was high.
