Due to the fact that there is a strong need to operate growingly more sophisticated systems that adds comfort to users as well as to manage health and safety requirements, to increase productivity and efficiency, and to maintain compliance requirements, facility management has become one of the popular phenomenon especially for the last decades. As the projects and initiatives in the context of facility management expand, the need for businesses and organizations to manage all operations and to keep tracking of regulations increases day by day. That is the main reason behind why the facility management is gaining popularity by considering project management and value proposition concepts. In the thesis, a comprehensive survey study is conducted in order to achieve managerial insights on the relationship between facility and project management, as well as value proposition. In the survey, twenty-two multiple choice questions are asked to fifty-one professionals in order to obtain expert opinion for the purpose of revealing managerial insights as a result of descriptive analysis procedure. This is important for practitioners in real-life projects in terms of highlighting the common opinions, pain points, and priorities with the help of a broad range of data in the context of the topic. From practical point of view, the proposed survey study is applicable and extendable by reaching more and more professionals within a wider period of time, providing opportunities for generating more and more comprehensive conclusions and insights.
